The Community Club is a non-profit organization that maintains all community club properties. A combination of local and non-local property owners serve on The Board of Trustees to oversee budgets, planning, and maintenance for the community club properties. The Bayshore Clubhouse

The Main Clubhouse features an outdoor playground, a 9-hole disc golf course, a walking and sitting area by the bay, a weight room and fitness center (Updated in 2026), a sauna, an indoor pool, a hot tub, a meeting room with board games and Wi-Fi, a basketball court, a weekend/seasonal restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and a game room featuring pool tables, ping-pong, and more.


Additional Community Parks

Cabana Pool Park and Perkin’s Pond (pictured) features a .6 mile nature trail around a body of water filled with wildlife: eagles, ducks, beavers, and more.  Bill Ellis Park on Duck Lake provides a dock for fishing (Stocked with trout, perch, and bass), a boat launch, a new playground, and a fenced dog park. Damon Park features a covered picnic area, outdoor pickleball, and a playground featuring a large rope climbing structure.  Ken Peterson Park is a favorite for the kids with a large interactive playground, full court basketball, tennis courts, and covered picnic areas.  Skookumchuck Park features a picnic area and a kayak dock that connects to over 23 miles of waterways. 

Seasonal Pools

The main clubhouse offers an indoor pool that is open year-round with a jetted hot tub. The Cabana Pool (pictured) is an Olympic-sized swimming pool equipped with a diving board which is opened seasonally. The Bill Ellis Park Pool features a slide and is also opened seasonally. All pool facilities provide showers, restrooms, and changing rooms.

Activities and Clubs

There are ongoing activities such as water aerobics, yoga, badminton, dance, bunco, book club, cribbage, crochet, painting, and more.  Seasonal activities include a summer picnic, craft bazaars, etc.

The Ocean Observer is a monthly newspaper publication sent to all community club members with highlights and features of the club’s amenities, local news, and properties and homes for sale.

How does Community Club membership work?

Most of the properties in the city of Ocean Shores are a part of the community club.  Membership to the club is granted to the property owner of the Ocean Shores parcels that are vested into the club. Membership in the club transfer with the sale of a property on the title as a lien against the property. 

Can I opt in or out of the Community Club?

If you purchase a property that is not a part of the Community Club, you can choose to opt IN to the club.  If you purchase a property that is part of the Community Club and you do not wish to be a member, there is no option to opt OUT.

Who can access the clubhouse amenities?

A membership card is provided to the property owner, and by request, also provided to household members age 13 and above including a spouse or domestic partner, children, or other persons permanently living at the home.  Each member is allowed to bring 4 guests with them to the clubhouse or pool at $1.00 each (Grandchildren are free).

How much does membership cost?

Current annual dues are $195.00 and adjust periodically.  If a property owner has multiple properties, he or she must pay dues on each property.  Adjacent properties may be combined through the City Boundary Line Revision process.  If the properties are combined through the County Courtesy Combination process (which allows properties to be separated in the future), dues may still be required for each parcel.
